A
very simple layout to show off this regal image and I let the border on the
image act as one of my borders then cut a thin strip away from the image as yet
another border then layered it on shimmer gold cardstock.
For
the borders with the green layer I used a cardstock as thick as the gold shimmer and cut a strip
about ½” less in width, taped on two gold edges and layered on the green then
cut the borders. This saved on the more
expensive gold shimmer cardstock. Didn’t
think ahead but I could have cut the center out of the gold too, maybe my brain
will retain that thought for next time. The Perfect
Layers tools from
Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the
borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company
site.
The
image panel is mounted on foam tape.
