Flower Sprig and Butterflies

I had a card session today with a friend and this is what we created each with our own choice of butterfly number and sizes and I didn’t finish mine until after she left so I hadn’t thought of the Stickles and pearls until later so maybe she'll see this and decide to do the same.

The background panel was created using Ranger alcohol inks:
Denim, Stonewash, Cloud Blue, Silver and blending solution
I roughed up the edge of the panel with my fingernail and stick pin after it was attached to the card…it just looked blah and this gave it more character.

The Flower Sprig die is from Memory Box and the butterflies from Cheery Lynn, I found both at Sweet Stamps and they are attached to the card with Aleene’s tacky glue. Parts of the flower sprig were double layered with the top layer being de-bossed using a metal ball stylus and folded paper towel for cushion. The butterflies are double layered also. The pearl are self-sticking.

This is just beautiful! I wish I were closer to you so we could get together and create something beautiful. That would be such fun. As always this is just lovely.

Roxie. Every card you make is quite simply a work of art! I've never seen these dies look more beautiful than they do at your hand.

Sorry it's been so long since I've visited ~ but I'm off to see what else you've been up to! What a treat :) !

Oh Rox, this is stunning! I had not seen that die before, and if I had, would have done it in green, just ASSUMING thats how to use it! The white is so perfect! Great job as always.
